Team WildWorks

We are a select group of bowhunters from around the world who have come together to produce a dvd of self-filmed hunts. We have all been disappointed with the direction that hunting has been going, and want to bring the focus back to what it is really all about. No more setup, contrived, and unrealistic hunts! Our emphasis will be on the thrill and challenge of the hunt with less emphasis on the size of the prize! Our hunts will show that it is possible for the average hunter to create enjoyable and entertaining memories in the wild without the help of a camera crew and a production company. This video is all about our love for the wild and the pursuit of the hunt. We hope you enjoy the trailer, it speaks volumes to us!!!

Primitive Hunting

Since I am all about the primitive hunting at the moment, I wanted to share some of the best primitive art I have ever seen. I was looking for some modern knapped projectile points to hunt with a few years back and ran across Mike Cook's website.

I contacted Mike by email about what I was looking for and he immediately responded. His flint knapping is incredible! He has been creating his art for over 30 years and he is also a hunter, so his work is both functional and beautiful. Here are a few examples of his work.

Mike's art goes beyond knapping projectile points and knives, he also creates some very unique turkey calls. If you want a truly unique turkey call to help you get in touch with your wild side, give Mike a buzz and he can fix you right up!

Much blood, sweat, and time goes into the making of art of this caliber. To be able to take a piece of mother nature in its most rudimentary form and transform it to a functional tool that it also a true work of art is a grand accomplishment indeed! If you agree, give Mike a call. He will create a piece for you that will make your next hunting trip even more enjoyable!!!

Damn, I wish I had the skill and patience to see one of those appear in front of me, at my making. This guy has skills.
