Being that RDG's schedule and hunting season conflicted very much so this year, she seldom had the opportunity to get out and hunt. On her first 3 hunts RDG was accompanied with her new Martin Cheeta bow with success at its minimum. A few hunts later, RDG decided that she would bring out the HOWA .270 and try her luck since she would most likely not be able to hunt much more before December when the season basically draws to an end. This was RDG's first 8pt and 3rd buck within two seasons. The first shot was at 305 yds and just over the back of the buck. As her luck would have it, RDG got a second chance at this buck just mere seconds later at a closer range of 225 yds and dropped 'em in his tracks. I'm so proud of her and the way that she hung in there and never gave up on the deer. Congrats RDG!
