Bullsnake!!!
If you have never had an encounter with a bull snake while traipsing around the wild, it can add some excitement! This snake was the largest I have ever encountered and was over 7 feet long. The bull snake is non poisonous and its defense is to mimic a rattlesnake by flicking its tail in the grass and expelling air by constricting. The sound is so much like that of a rattler, it will make your heart skip!!! This snake weighed over 15 pounds and was over twenty years old! I know because I ask him!

I have never come face-to-face with one of these very "useful" creatures, let alone have a chat!
I did see my first from my car in MT last summer. I saw 3 of them over 6ft long within a mile of each other.
I asked the guy we were riding with about them, he explained they are Bull Snakes and they not only mimic Rattlers, they also eat them!
After his response, I had mixed feelings...Woooh! they are not Rattlers!!! Then, they did not get soo big by starvation!!!
