Team WildWorks

We are a select group of bowhunters from around the world who have come together to produce a dvd of self-filmed hunts. We have all been disappointed with the direction that hunting has been going, and want to bring the focus back to what it is really all about. No more setup, contrived, and unrealistic hunts! Our emphasis will be on the thrill and challenge of the hunt with less emphasis on the size of the prize! Our hunts will show that it is possible for the average hunter to create enjoyable and entertaining memories in the wild without the help of a camera crew and a production company. This video is all about our love for the wild and the pursuit of the hunt. We hope you enjoy the trailer, it speaks volumes to us!!!

Shed's and Dead's

Antler's are starting to drop here in Kansas, I've found around ten so far in the last three weeks. Unfortunately, I've also found a few casualties...

These first two bucks were on a property I just got permission to hunt next Fall, and I found them less than 200 yds apart...

This guy (above) also had a broken off G3 & G5 on his right side, and a broken off G4 on his left...

I'm guessing he'd have gone around 160"...

It's alway's a sad situation when you find animals like this, but nature has it's way of taking back. I could find no evidence of their demise...

Almost missed this shed...

It's been here awhile...

This one's from last year too... the "Devil" spike...

This is the bigggest shed I've found thus far, had a close encounter with this buck on the 26th of December. After seeing and holding his shed, I'm glad he wasn't close enough for a shot ;)

He'll be a good'n next year!

If you get a chance in the next few weeks, get out and walk your hunting area's. You can learn a lot in the "off-season" and put it to use in the Fall! Heck, you might just find a good set of rattlin' horns, if nothing more it's good exercise and something the whole family can participate in.

Brian and I are headed to Texas at the end of the week to meet up with Bill & Kyle for some free range pig hunting, keep your eye out for some footage... it's comin!
