This was an old self-filmed hunt of mine where I was fortunate to take my first turkey with a longbow.

The GoPros On My Compound Bow
Here is the way I set the cameras up on my bow, it seems to be the best way to eliminate the most shock and vibration.
Winter Life

The in-between seasons is the longest time of the year. With that, we recoup, spend time with family and friends, and reflect on what hunts and memories we have made in that time spent in the great outdoors. The past week has been a roller coaster ride of weather out here in West Texas, from the 50's to 80's to 20's in the past week with over 5" of snow! April (RDG) managed to get out after the snow started to melt and use one of her many talents, photography. It's amazing what one can do with mother nature this time of year (everything being dead). It just goes to show that life can be it's most beautiful in times like these. If you are interested in more great photography you should check out her link.

My New Toys

Also, I wanted to post a pic of my new blades that Mr. Cook knapped for me. They are spectacular to say the least! I wish I had this kind of ability! I will be hunting with them as soon as I get them haft ed onto my cedar arrows.

The Conclusion!!!
This is my conclusion after several months of testing. The Hero cameras will serve me best mounted on my bow. The first, facing my target, mounted on my stabilzer. The second on the riser, facing me, so everyone can see the shot and reaction. Notice in the vid that there is little vibration, thanks to Gopro's mounting bracket and placement on bow. Let me know what you think!
